Pat is a native Floridian. She has lived most of her life in Center Hill, FL and moved to Ocala in 1982. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree of Fine Art in Painting from Florida Atlantic University. She has been painting over 50 years. Seven of these were spent in the classroom teaching middle school and junior high art.
Pat considers herself a real “Florida cracker”. She enjoys painting scenes from the “Old South” and the “Cracker Days” in Florida and other southern states. She is known as “The Story Telling Artist” in that her historical paintings tell a story.
Pat is an eclectic painter in that she does not restrict herself to one style of subject. You may find her painting a small realistic or impressionist piece one day and a huge colorful abstract the next.
Pat has won awards throughout the years and has shown her work in the Appleton Museum, Marion County Museum of History, Marion Cultural Alliance “The Brick” and “Artful Gifts”
and Gallery East as well as other businesses and shows in the area.
Pat is a member of Marion Cultural Alliance and Mural Masters of Belleview.
